My Fraternal Brothers and Sisters
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! I wish each of you a very
healthy and prosper 2010! Each of us have so many
things to be thankful for in our personal lives. We as
Moose family members have seen many things
accomplished during the past year around the lodge,
such as the completion of our kitchen, and without
the help of each of you these things would not have
happened, as it could not have been done by just
one or two members.
Miss Marion did an outstanding job AGAIN with the
Children’s Christmas party, of course she does a
great job on anything she undertakes! Also, the
children’s Halloween party was a success and the
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were well
received. Thanks go to all who participated in the
preparations.
Congratulations go to Brother Monroe Green on his
election to the Chairmanship of the Panhandle
Council of Higher Degree. Lodge 2193 is proud to
boast that we now have three of our members
(Brother Brian Trundy, President NWF Moose Legion
182, Brother Mike Hollingsworth, Secretary, NWF
Moose Legion 182, and now Brother Monroe,
Chairman, Panhandle Council of Higher Degrees) as
officers in Northwest Florida District 15! I believe
this is a first within our District!
There are so many things that I wish to comment on,
but again I have waited until the last minute to
submit my input, and I have unfortunately run out of
time. I would like to say thanks once more to Sharon
Hall for her work on our Lodge Newsletter
and also to Kismet Cooke for her wonderful work on
our website. Please thank these ladies for all their
time and hard work!
I do want to thank all the officers and you the
members, for all that you have done and I know that
you will continue to do so.
Our Friday Night Steak dinners and our Sunday
Breakfasts are doing great! Please check the
calendars for upcoming events.
