Greetings to all Moose Members,
First, let me introduce myself. I am John Leach
and have been in this area for 4 years, and in
business for 14 years. I have been married for 30
years and have two sons, Jeremy and Gavin. I am
a very open-minded person and I am looking
forward to making the Moose Lodge a better place,
so any ideas anyone may have in that vision,
please tell me.
A few things we have been working on are the
redecorating of the bathrooms, the start of a kids
area in the dining room, and reworking the patio
behind the building with relocating the shed,
fencing off a back area for privacy, decking over
the retention ponds, new horseshoe pits and
maybe a volleyball court.
We need Moose members to pull together so
we can achieve making this a home away from
home for all. We do have some problem areas to
work through, but I feel we can do this if we pull
together and all strive for the best lodge in Moose
International.
I hope those of you that have not visited the
lodge lately will please stop by and bring a friend
and get them acquainted with the Moose so that
they may also learn what a great organization the
Loyal Order of Moose is.
The following proposal will be voted on at the
General Membership meeting on July 22, 2010:
Having all food served in the dining area. Members
may then consume their meal anywhere within the
Lodge that they wish. Doors between the socila
quarters and dining area will be open wide. We
hope that this will bring more members out to
support meal nights.

Just a couple of
reminders:
Since our kitchen
and dining area are
up and running, we
can hopefully
expect that we will
be renting it out on
a more frequent
basis. Being able to
rent this area
financially benefits
our Lodge. We will
try to let everyone
know in advance
when a special
event is going on,
and we ask your
patience and
understanding if
parking becomes a
problem once in a
while.
If you are NOT
receiving a
newsletter, it might
be that we do not
have the correct
address on file for
you. If you have
changed your
address or phone
number recently,
please provide the
Lodge
Administrator or
any officer the
correct information.
Returned mail due
to an outdated
addresses cost the
Lodge money.
